Geographical Environment

The village locates to the south of Zhanghua, to the north of Nantou. It joints with Cao Tun Town of Nan Tou County and Wu Ri Village of Tai Zhong County on the east, with Yuan Lin Town, Da Cun Village, and Hua Tan Village on the west, with Nan Tou City on the south and with Zhang Hua City on the north.

The population of the village is about 26 thousand. Fenyuan Village , with a hillside terrain that accounts for 41% of the whole area of the village, located to the east of Zhang Hua County , which is also to the east of Ba Gua terrace. In the aspect of administration, Fenyuan is affiliated with Zhang Hua County . However, the nature terrain, the Ba Gua terrace that mounts from the west coastline, separates Fenyuan Village from other villages and towns in two different geographical spaces. And geographically, Fenyuan Village is connected with Wu Ri Village of Tai Zhong County, Nan Tou City as well as Cao Tun Town of Nan Tou County. Thus, it bears a relatively closer geographical, emotional and consuming relations with them.

Traffic conditions:

1. Drive along Zhong Shan Highway to Wang Tian interchange , turn left towards Cao Tun ( Zhong Xin Xin Cun) when passing Zhang Hua City , and you will arrive at the village.

2. Turn left at Zhong Zhang Speed Way to Zhang Xin Road , towards Cao Tun, and you will arrive at the village.

3. Turn right at the south of Zhong Tou Speed Way to Fen Cao Road or Bi Xin Road , and turn left towards Zhang Hua City , and you will arrive at the village.

4. Take 148 th Line ( Yuan Cao Road ) from Yuan Lin Town towards Cao Tun, and turn left towards Zhang Hua City at Zhang Nan Road (Line 145), and you will arrive at the village.

5. 139 th Road (also called Da Zhang Road ), constructed on the Lin Xian of Ba Gua Moutain, is zigzag and bumpy, with a narrow driveway. It connects the traffic between the village with Hua Tan Village , Da Cun Village of Zhang Hua County, and the mountain area of Yuan Lin Town.
