Dapu Hamlet

Geographical Position:

Dapu Hamlet, with an area of 1.60 square kilometers, locates on the north of the village, 1.2 kilometers to the northwest of the administration office in Shekou. To the southeast of Dapu Hamlet is Zhulin Hamlet of the village; to the northeast Dapu Hamlet and Wu Ri Village of Tai Zhong County share some part of the boundaries; to the southwest is Fengkeng Hamlet of the village; and to the north and the west is Jiushe Hamlet of the village.

 

History of the Hamlet Name:

The name of Dapu comes from the early explorers of Dapu County of Chao Zhou Fu of Guangdong Province in order to commemorate their hometown in the mainland after the immigration to Taiwan .

 

Traffic Arteries:

The main road of the village that is connected with outside is Zhang Nan Road (Tai 14 th Road ) on the east. Other roads include Dapu Road , Yi Xing Road , De Xing Road , and Dapu Lun Industry Road .
