Zhulin Hamlet

Geographical Position:

Zhulin Hamlet, with an area of 1.43 square kilometers, locates on the middle-north of the village, about 200 to 300 meters from Shekou. It is adjacent with Qielao Hamlet on the south, with Fengkeng Hamlet on the west, with Dapu Hamlet on the northwest, with Wu Ri Village of Tai Zhong County on the east. The hamlet is on the sloping field of the east of Ba Gua Tai, with an altitude of between 50 and 60 meters. Because the hamlet is next to Mao Luo Stream, the east part of it is covered with paddy fields and grasslands which rely on the irrigation of Zhulin Pai. There are commercial districts on both sides of Zhang Nan Road . And there are a large scale of memorial park on the east. The branch of Mao Luo Stream flows through the hamlet via Shekou and runs northwards, while Mao Luo Stream flows northwards along the east part of the hamlet.

History of the Hamlet Name:

Zhulin comes from the bamboos which are planted all around the residential areas, because Zhulin means bamboos in Chinese.

Traffic Arteries:

The main roads of the hamlet that extends outwards are: Zhang Nan Road that goes through the whole hamlet from the north to the south through the commercial areas of the hamlet which also goes through Dapu Hamlet; other roads include Zhang 64 th County Road ( also called San Fen Road which is to be widened to a 15-meter-wide road in June of the year of 86, the parts that are to be widened start from Zhulin Bridge in Zhulin Hamlet till Hua Tan Village via Ren Ai Road of Fenkeng Hamlet, part of Zhang 139 th Road and San Fen Road, Xiang Dao Min Zu Road, Yong He Road, and Tai Ping Road.
