Shekou Hamlet
Geographical Position:
She Kou Hamlet, with an area of 0.90 square kilometers, is the smallest hamlet in the e when it was established in the area. The administrative office also locates in this hamlt which is 10.5 kilometres away from the streets of Zhan Hua City . As soon as the location is concerned, the hamlet is in the center of this hamlet. In the east, it is next to the Jia Hamlet in the south and west the Fenyuan Hamlet, the north Zhulin Hamlet.
The hamlet, located to the edge of the basin in the middle part of Taipei , is on the riverside between the east of Ba Gua Tai area and Mao Luo Stream with an altitude of between 55 and 60 metres. In the west of the hamlet is a little garden; in the center is an urbanized area; in the east of the hamlet there is a wide agricultural area of paddy fields. Mao Luo Stream goes through southeast of the hamlet, and Mao Luo pit and Xin Xin tunnel gather to the branch of Mao Luo Stream before it flows into the Mao Luo Stream.
History of the Hamlet Name:
The hamlet gains the name She Kou bacause it was once the entrance from Zhang Hua to Hoanya.
Traffic Arteries:
The two main roads , Zhang Nan Road (Zhang Hua to Nan Tou) and Fen Cao Road (She Kou to Cao Tun) lead to the outside and go through the centre of the hamlet. Zhong Xiao Road is one of other roads connecting to neighboring hamlets. Addtionally ， there are Nation Road and Zhong Zhen Road built earlier in the downtown as well as Min Quan Road, Min Shen Road, Tai Pin Road, Xi Pin Road, Zhu Dong Road, Fu Xin Road, Guang Fu Road, Xin Yi Road, Chen Gong Road. The Yong Le Road will be built.
