History of the Hamlet Name:
Xianzhuang, or Ben Xianzhuangg in the record of Zhuan Hua, possibly originated from the Xian Han. The hamlet, main place alongside Zhang Nan Rd , was the only way which must be passed from Zhang Hua County to Nan Tou Street at the time of Qing Dynasty. When it was colonized by Japanese, according to the Bao Jia system which was implemented strictly, the hamlet was the first part of Xianzhuang section (the second part was Zhaqian Hamlet, the third and the fourth Xi Tou Hamlet). Afterwards Japan (Tai Wan satrap) adjusted the local administrative division for many times and readjusted the Jie Zhuang precinct after the end of 22, ROC (8, Zhao He; 1933). Xi Zhuang was divided into Xianzhuang Hamlet, Kunqian Hamlet and Xitou Hamlet following the rules of the colonial period by Japan since the recovery. It has not changed until now.
