Qielao Hamlet, with an area of 4037 square kilometers, lies in the north east of this village. This hamlet is bounded on the east by Tai Zhong County and Wufen Village; on the southeast by the dike, which is along the southern bank of Wu Stream on the upper reaches of Da Du Stream, and by Jia Zhong Street as well as Jiaxin Hamlet of this Village; on the south closely by Jiaxin Hamlet of west side. Some of this hamlet is broadened upon Cao Tun Village of Nan Tou County; in the west lie Zhu Lin Hamlet, She Kou Hamlet and Fen Yuan Hamlet of this Village; in the north Wu Ri Village of Tai Zhong County.
This hamlet lies in the basin of center area of Tai Wan, broadened by the east bank of Mao Luo Stream. Ai Liao Stream goes through the Xiao Jia Lao area of dense population from Cao Tun, and flows into Mao Luo Stream along the southwest of this hamlet to the northwest. In the southeast of Xia Jia Lao, 4.7 kilometers away from it, lies the Qielao Mountain which is the hillock of Gu Wu Stream at an altitude of 247 meters. The whole area of this hamlet enjoys wide fertile fields of paddy, baccy and straw mushroom except for a little part garden in the west next to Mao Luo Stream. As soon as irrigation is concerned, there are Wu Stream in the east, Mao Luo Stream in the west, Ai Liao Stream closely to Mao Luo Stream and Xi Wei Liao Drainage.
